  1. it just feels so good.
  2. Yes it does make a difference because when you polish it, it makes the surface of the ball more slippery thus giving it more speed on the lane but you need more accuracy when using a polished ball or else it'll slip away into the gutter.
  3. Did you know that nine-pin bowling was made illegal and to get round it ten pin was invented? Both games polish balls and you might try it and reflect on your performance before and after.
  4. so the ball can go down the lane smoothly.
  5. They can only polish their bowling ball,They cant polish their own balls there. If you like to polish,u can do that to my balls...
  6. you polish bowling balls to take the grease and oil off from the lanes
  7. Only time I buff the ball off is when I'm bowling in a PBA Experience league or tournament with a heavy oil pattern. When that happens, the ball track is highly visible and having that oil on the ball every shot will definitely get on your hand and your deliveries will be affected by loss of grip. During practice on regular house conditions or a normal house league (low to medium oil), I can go through an entire session without wiping it off the ball because not much collects on it. Most people that are not really experienced in bowling or trying to emulate professional bowlers just wipe their bowling balls after every shot for show even though light oil lane conditions don't even leave visible amounts of oil on the ball.
