Can I have an engraved word on the surface of a ten-pin bowling ball removed?

I've just bought a second hand ten-pin bowling ball, but it has the name of the previous owner engraved on its surface. Is there anywhere I can go to have this ground off, and is it an expensive thing to have done?

2. you can but it will have to go away for a week or so , i do not know were but , i got it done for bowls
3. Any pro shop that does ball drilling should be able to correct this problem you have. Unless they can match the color perfect you will always have a mark there but it will be yours in full lol.
