  1. Well what i think they are for is safety so that you don't flick your wrist too hard when curving and twist it or they are probably for fashion.
  2. Because they support the tendons in the wrist
  3. so that they can scratch their balls.......
  4. Some bowlers just purchase it because their favorite "professional bowler" is endorsing a specific one, some definitely have wrist problems and need the extra support and some just use them for show (they're the ones with a six ball bag, expensive shoes, "name brand" bowling shirt with their name on the back, performance bowling balls, $50+ value wrist support, but carries a 125 average on house conditions......). I use an Ebonite bowling glove under a bowling wrist support that looks like a long glove, velcro closures and solid metal piece where the wrist flexes, but still allows me to fully cup the ball for a comfortable release without straining my forearm and wrist. After bowling for over 26 years, I need something like that to be able to bowl properly and avoiding tendonitis, sprains or muscle strain.
  5. dunno what are you talking about what wrist supporet
