How much would it cost to open a bowling alley?
Assuming I own the property outright, how much would it cost to open up a 12 lane bowling alley with a full arcade and some vending machines and maybe a small day care in the corner, including the cost of the building? Would a bank finance such a business idea with a minimal down payment? I have $150,000 in liquid assets and am wondering if this would be a feasable venture. The market where I am has absolutely no arcade or bowling alleys at all in a city of about 3000 people with surrounding smaller cities of about 2000 combined (within 30 minutes). There is no entertainment at all (no movie theatre). Would this be a good market?

- I would ask the Small Business Administration for a loan. They probably have information on the size of the market required to sustain a bowling alley, which I'm pretty sure is on the order of 100,000.
- I dont know how much it cost but I can tell you do anythink to get started on this if you are interested because its where the money is. I spend about over $100.00 when I go, and thats where I get to met rich business people and get business ideals.Include a small entertainment so kids with the interest can also go. Yes $150,000 its a lot of money to start one. Be the first.and good luck. Let me know how it went. Say your prayer to night. wish you good luck.
